I thought it was just me and my slow internet connection but as it turns out, pretty much everyone in North America (and, I suppose, the world) was having the same problem: the video-streaming web was pretty much out of commission for the inauguration today.
However, I did discover that CNN has a pretty cool Facebook function on their live video feed, allowing you to see your FB friends who are also watching the feed update their status to reflect it, making for a cool side conversation to your viewing. (Today’s was mostly about how it wasn’t working.) That being said, it begs the obvious question: how much shit do you need to have going on in one screen at the same time?
